How to make an exciting story!

First of I want to say hi. My name is Abby and I'm the new co.owner of this website. Please follow me on Instagram @amzstories or if you need anything email me at abbymzstories@gmail.com Ok let's start...

To make an episode story exciting
you need to do all of these 10 things. I hope this helps!

1. HAVE CLIFF HANGERS:
This is really important! Having cliff hangers will make the reader want to read the next episode and they will be on the edge of there seat waiting!!

2. USE LOTS OF DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS:
Using lots of backgrounds will help keep the reader engaged and the more backgrounds the more they will pay attention!

3. HAVE LOTS IF DRAMA AND ACTION:
This is a must! Without it the story would not be very entertaining. Maybe make a plan so in each episode something exciting is happening.

4. PLAN OUT A PLOT:
This might seem weird but if you don't know what's going to happen as an author the story will lack a plot and probably won't be that entertaining!

5. USE LOT'S OF DIFFERENT ANIMATIONS:
By using multiple animation your catching the reader's eye. If you don't add animations or just use all the same ones the story will visually seem boring.

6. MAKE YOUR STORY UNIQUE:
I feel this is the most important one! If you make your story unique and not just like other story's, people will want to read it because it's different.

7. GRAMMAR AND SPELLING:
I know this will maybe not make it more exciting but if you have bad grammar and spelling the reader will get frustrated and will not want to read your story anymore.

8. POST OFFTEN:
For me there is nothing worse then having to wait until the author posts an episode. Some people might get tired of waiting and stop reading your story! Also if you post more people will know you are dedicated.

9. INCLUDE A LOVE STORY:
Even if your story's not about love, adding a love story ads to the drama quality in your story!

10: WRITE WITH PASSION:
If your not writing with passion there's a good chance the story will not come across as exciting. It will seem forced.

I really hope this helped. Comment if you have any questions about this article!!
Thanks guys!

Episode Ink style

Hallo,

This post is about episode ink version.
I need to clear up the confusion that people have been having about it. A lot of people don't have it whereas others do. I don't have it and only few of the people I know have it.
Don't fear, help is near! Sorry I've just always wanted to say that.

Basically, episode or pocket gems I'm not sure which was hacked and for some reason not everyone got the ink. I know, I know it's really annoying but I've heard news that we will all be getting it soon. Btw if I'm wrong don't kill me it's what I've been told😅
It might also be that you need to sign in to episode writers portal on a different email address. Do this before jumping to conclusions: it might work, it might not. If it doesn't work then I guess you'll just have to be patient!

Perhaps we could launch a campaign and send episode a spam of emails saying that we want ink or whatever😂 Just kidding, that would never happen..
Well, it's time to close off now. Comment about what your thoughts are on the ink style and any questions. Answer me a question- Classic or ink?

Spot Directing

Spot Directing

Spot directing is probably one of the most difficult things to do on episode especially for a newbie. I literally could not do it at all initially until I found other ways. Once you get the hang of it spot directing is very easy although it can be time consuming depending on what you are doing.

When I'm spot directing I use the spot helper when viewing my story and copy down the code. For example I click on the spot helper button then move and resize my character. There is a code in the corner which says the position for example 0.5 50 200. With this you use in your script for example standing in that position= @GIRL stands spot 0.5 50 200.

However, if you want a character like a child to be the same size and position every time you must note the spot positions down somewhere for future reference.

Some people just use trial and error which is perfectly acceptable however the spot helper is much easier to use in my opinion.

As for lying in beds you can go to a spot cheat sheet by clicking here. It basically tells you all the positions for the episode background for boys and girls.

People such as Genevieve Manzo (the author of dripping mascara) have created their own spot cheat sheets for other backgrounds and for walking on the sidewalks etc... Click here for Gen's amazing cheat sheet which was a great help for me. Also click here to see Gen's page on the forums which is very useful and she's an amazing person so go subscribe to her!

Theres a lot more I can say about spot directing but I'd prefer it if you asked questions and wrote things you know in the comments because of course not only is this here to tell you information its also for you guys to comment and ask and talk to each over!

Hope this helped, keep commenting!

Episode Talk: Josie T

Hey readers. Thanks for visiting this webpage. Follow my instagram @josiee.episode and read my story when it is published called Under The Spotlight!

This is a place where I will post things for people to discuss/ask/discover about episode. I will post topics to talk about as well as free posts where you can talk about anything. Just comment and get the conversation going. Who knows you might make new friends here too.

I will also post things where people can get together and create collab stories, do competitions, shout outs (occasionally) and anything else which is requested.

I made this because sometimes it's really difficult to post and comment on the forums and hard to talk to people. With episode talk it is easy. I want to help people and for people to find answers to their questions and resolve their issues because it is really hard to do.

Contact me via my instagram (josiee.episode) or email: josieltink@gmail.com of any suggestions, help or requests of future posts.

Byee!
